About Wise Owl Design Studio
Wise Owl Design Studio is a sole proprietorship graphic and web design company registered in the state of Oregon, and is owned and operated by myself, Megan McFadden. I started this business in March of 2011 in an attempt to reach out to businesses and people who are in need of creative graphic and web design services at an affordable price.
I have a bachelor’s degree and five years experience working in the graphic and web design industry. I have worked as a graphic designer in the advertising department at The Bend Bulletin newspaper in Bend Oregon and The Central Oregon Nickel Ads. There, I was responsible for designing newspaper advertisements for a wide variety of businesses such as car dealerships, real estate agents, and many more. I was also responsible for manipulating and preparing photos for print.
Most recently, I worked as the in-house graphic designer for an upscale beach and tennis resort located in Longboat Key, Florida. I worked with the marketing director designing creative solutions for advertisements that were featured in national magazines such as “O” the Oprah Magazine, “Tennis” magazine, and “Food & Wine.” Some of my other duties at the resort included designing restaurant menus, postcards, posters, table tents, rack cards, brochures, booklets, direct mail flyers, web banner ads, email campaigns, and special websites for events. I also played a key role in re-designing the company’s website.
Every client is unique; no matter how big or small your project may be, I promise to dedicate my time, creativity, and experience until I create the perfect design to suit your needs. I also have a huge sense of humor, so no project is too silly for me to handle!
